Injection-type cutting torch RPM “DONMET” 502 is designed for hand topping of ingots, cast products, forged pieces and large-size scrap metal of low-carbon steel l. It can be used for smelting of surface flaws in cast and forged pieces.
The cutting torch basic parameters conform to ISO 5172 requirements.
For operation at ambient temperatures:
for cutting torch version M from minus 40°С up to plus 40°С;
for cutting torch version P from minus 20°С up to plus 40°С.

The table indicates rough values. They are valid for unalloyed steel up to 0,3%С when oxygen purity is at least 99,5%.
It is allowed to connect the cutting torch to the workshop oxygen line, its pressure being 12-16 bar without the use of a pressure regulator at the oxygen-dispensing station, but with obligatory use of a flashback arrestor with capacity no less than 120 м3/h (for example, flashback arrestor DONMET 955, order No. 955.000.00).
