Advantages of “Optimizer DM”:
– optimum shielding gas flow from the very beginning;
– no turbulent splash at the beginning of welding;
– twice more seams with the same amount of gas.
► To be installed at the outlet connection of the regulator;
► Saves up to 50% of shielding gas;
► Reduces the frequency of changing cylinders;
► Reduces the cost of cylinders’ transportation to gas stations ;
► Saves money for gas purchasing.
For arc welding in shielding gases, regulators with working pressure of up to 10 bar are used. When welding is stopped, there is excessive pressure created between the pressure regulator and the welding unit in the hose (usually 3,5-6 bar). When welding works are continued, this excessive pressure gets immediately released into the atmosphere, its amount sometimes 6 times higher than during welding works. At the same time, to shield the weldpool the maximum required pressure is 0,9 bar with the flow of 25 l/min. You can avoid these losses by attaching ‘Optimizer DM” to the pressure regulator.
Manufactured according to ISO 2503 requirements.
