Tank for diesel (gasoline) DG-08-1 DM

The Tank DG-08-1 DM, hereinafter referred to as the “tank”, is designed to supply diesel fuel, gasoline and kerosene under pressure to cutting torches and heating torches.
The tank is manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the available design documentation DG 24.009-935.00.000-01 and in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2014/29/EU.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Precious metals are not used in the product.

The metal thickness of the tank body is 1.5 mm.

The tank consists of a body, a pump, a fuel filler cap with a built-in safety valve for manual pressure relief, and a fuel filler assembly with a valve, a pressure indicator, a filler, a shut-off valve, a check valve, and a nipple for connecting a rubber hose. When the pressure in the tank exceeds 1.5 bar, the red mark of the indicator protrudes beyond the edge of the cap. When the pressure rises further to between 3.0 and 4.0 bar, the safety valve is activated and the pressure in the tank decreases. The red indicator marker moves back to its original position at the level of the cap edge. To manually relieve the pressure, pull the safety plug as far as it will go. To increase safety, the tank is equipped with a shut-off valve that shuts off the flow of the fuel from the tank in the event of a fuel hose rupture.

Attention: To ensure normal operation of the shut-off valve, it is necessary to:

• turn the valve of the fuel tapping unit 1/4 turn and wait 15-30 seconds to fill the hose with fuel;
• open the valve on the torch and make sure that the fuel flows to the nozzle;
• close the valve on the torch;
• then fully open the valve on the fuel tapping unit;
• then start working.
