The tank consists of a body, a pump, a filler cap with a built-in safety valve for manual pressure relief or automatic activation at a pressure more than 3 bar and tank control unit with a pressure gauge (outlet connection 9/16LH and a nipple for connecting a rubber hose with Dn 6 mm). To increase safety, the tank control unit is equipped with a shut-off valve that shuts off the flow of the fuel from the tank in the event of a fuel hose rupture.
Attention: To prevent the shut-off valve from operating during cutting process, do the following:
- pump up the pressure in the filled tank to 0.7-1.5 bar (the control unit fuel valve is closed during pumping);
- open liquid fuel valve of the torch about 1 turn;
- slowly, about 1 turn, open the control unit valve and wait 15-30 seconds to fill the hose with fuel, then open it fully;
- make sure that the fuel flows from the nozzle and close cutting torch fuel valve;
- if liquid fuel is blocked by the shut-off valve, close the valve, tap the tank on the ground and repeat the procedure.
